Multitude, range and quality are significant for the activities we offer in Vänersborg from preschool to adult education.
A few examples are the Music School of Vänersborg which has won many awards, the Nature school of Hunneberg where children can learn about nature, preschools with different profiles and the Birger Sjöberg High School with exiting educational profiles in among others orchestral music, sign language, golf and bandy.

The municipal activities in this area is led by three different committees; the Children- and Youth Committee (preschool, nine-year compulsory school, music school and leisure activities), Cultural Committee (library and culture), High School Committee (high school, adult education, labour market training).
