The social services/welfare department is responsible for among other things care for elderly and disabled and support, guidance and other efforts to children, youths and adults.
 
The activities are built on a respect for people´s right of self-determination and integrity. The activities are provided with each persons need, condition and resources in mind.
 
Within the social services there are three different areas;
  • Health and care
  • Care for the handicapped
  • Care for individual or family
